Defenderfer Sparks Colonels’ Offense
Hayden Defenderfer led the way offensively for Colonel Richardson, going 3‑for‑4 with three runs scored, a double, and two stolen bases. The third baseman consistently set the tone from the middle of the lineup, creating scoring opportunities and putting pressure on the Vikings’ defense. Jamie Mensonides delivered a key performance as well, driving in three runs and collecting a double. Skylar Endzel added an RBI, a double, and two stolen bases, while Kenton Robbins and John Beaven each chipped in RBI production. Colonel Richardson’s aggressive approach on the basepaths paid dividends, as the Colonels finished the game with eight stolen bases.
Strong Pitching Performance

Kenton Robbins followed in relief, tossing 3⅔ shutout innings and striking out four to close out the victory. As a pitching staff, the Colonels limited Cambridge–South Dorchester to two runs, issuing five walks while striking out eight.
Vikings Held in Check
Cambridge–South Dorchester scored single runs in the fourth and fifth innings but was unable to mount sustained offense.
