The Kent Island Varsity Bucs wasted no time asserting control Tuesday afternoon, scoring in each of the first four innings on their way to a dominant 12–1 victory over Easton. A relentless offense paired with efficient pitching allowed the Bucs to end the contest early, showcasing depth throughout the lineup and setting the tone from the opening frame.
Fast Start Sets the Tone
Kent Island opened the game with two runs in the first inning and never looked back. A balanced approach at the plate produced timely hits and constant traffic on the bases, forcing Easton into defensive pressure early. By the end of the fourth inning, the Bucs had built an insurmountable lead, highlighted by five-run third and fourth frames that broke the game wide open.
