Parkside delivered a complete performance Tuesday afternoon, backing a dominant effort on the mound to secure a 6–1 home victory over Snow Hill at Parkside High School.
Pitching Sets the Tone
From the opening pitch, Parkside controlled the tempo behind starting pitcher Tristan Merritt, who worked efficiently through the Snow Hill lineup. Merritt tossed a complete seven innings, allowing just one unearned run while striking out 10 and limiting Snow Hill to no hits, setting the foundation for the home team’s win.
Early Offense Breaks Through
Parkside wasted little time creating separation on the scoreboard. Aiden Headley sparked the offense with a strong day at the plate, reaching base three times and driving in a run. Consistent pressure forced Snow Hill into defensive errors, which Parkside capitalized on to build a multi-run advantage.

The middle of the order delivered steady production as Austin Kinhart collected two hits, including a double, scored twice and added an RBI. Frank Harrison and Garrett Jones each contributed run-producing hits, while aggressive baserunning led to additional scoring opportunities throughout the game.
