Snow Hill Outlasts Crisfield Varsity Crabbers in 8–5 Decision

Snow Hill, MD – March 24, 2026

The Crisfield Varsity Crabbers dropped an 8–5 decision to Snow Hill on Tuesday afternoon despite a strong offensive showing that included seven hits and eight walks. Crisfield stayed within striking distance for much of the game, but Snow Hill used disciplined at‑bats and key production throughout the lineup to secure the win.

Crabbers Generate Early Offense
Crisfield plated five runs on seven hits, highlighted by a productive day from Jeffrey Cuff, who went 3‑for‑4 with an RBI. Cooper Thomas also delivered a key two‑RBI hit, while Carter Marsh and Peyton Mills each drove in a run. The Crabbers showed patience at the plate, drawing eight walks and putting consistent pressure on Snow Hill pitching, but were unable to string together late scoring after the middle innings.

Snow Hill Capitalizes on Opportunities
Snow Hill finished with eight runs on seven hits, taking advantage of walks and hit batters to extend innings. Gavin Shipley and Caleb Butler each recorded two RBIs, while Snow Hill spread scoring throughout the order rather than relying on one big inning. Extra bases played a role, as Snow Hill collected two doubles and forced Crisfield into extended defensive situations.
